Goatchurch Cavern

Goatchurch Cavern is probably the most popular cave on Mendip particularly amongst newcomers to caving. Its complex network of predominantly dry passages offers a number of sporting aspects: tight squeezes, short climbs and gymnastic manoeuvers, together with problems of route finding. Having two entrances, the cave offers an interesting ‘round trip’.
